Job Description

A client in the greater Chicago, IL area is looking for a Clerical Administrator to join their team. This resource will be on the Administrative and clerical staff to help coordinate and facilitate patient care. They schedule appointments, answer phones, greet patients, keep medical records, handle medical billing, fill out insurance forms, arrange for laboratory or other diagnostic services, and handle financial records. This will be onsite for 2 weeks for training, and then hybrid (2-3 days a week) after. This is part time (20 hours a week), and is an ongoing contract slated to last 1+ years.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience as an admin/clerical work
Experience pulling documents
Excel experience

Since they will be working in a hospital, these are things needed to start:
Physical Exam complete and provide documentation
Fit Test complete and provide documentation
TB Test Quantiferon (QFTTB) only complete and provide documentation
Flu Vaccine Provide documentation for 2024 In Season vaccine
COVID Vaccination Provide documentation this is completed
Provide Immunization records which should include:
o Flu Shot
o COVID Vaccine
o EMP (Measles, Mumps, and Varciella) (ABEMI)
o Hepatitis B Includes Antigen/Anitbody
o Rubella (ABRUG)
Complete Drug Screen

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience pulling medical records and/or pulling claims
Working directly onsite at a hospital
