- Prepare and review financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Conduct audits of financial statements to ensure validity and legal compliance.
- Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses.
- Advise management on tax ramifications and suggested courses of action, including strategic planning and financial forecasting.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure that taxes are paid properly and on time.
- Assess financial operations and make best-practices recommendations to management.
- Suggest ways to reduce costs, enhance revenues, and improve profits.
- Supervise accounting staff and oversee their daily activities.
