Insight Global is looking to add a Top Secret cleared Network Engineer to a federal clients large program team based at Scott Air Force Base in O'fallon, IL. This individual will be joining the DRSN (Defense Red Switch Network) team to support the DRSN IP voice transport network and new DRSN IP modernization project. This person will be working directly with engineering and operations technicians to maintain a large complex network providing global service for DOD command and control infrastructure. Duties will include developing troubleshooting processes and procedures, training peers on all aspects of the network operations, providing technical input and recommendations to program leadership and engineers, and troubleshooting network problems as they arise.
They will need to have expertise in IP technologies and experience in session-initiated protocol (SIP), Session Boarder Controllers (SBC), and/or Juniper IP equipment.
