The Fraud Analyst will report to the Fraud Investigations Manager of US Region Fraud Management. The Fraud Analyst is responsible for completing moderate to complex research and analysis of account activity to assess levels of risk and fraud type, making a fraud determination, completing all required investigative reports, and taking appropriate action to resolve fraud related inquiries in a multi-faceted, fast paced and dynamic environment, while ensuring the security of the customer's accounts.
* 4+ years of experience in fraud analysis experience, ideally coming from a bank or financial service institution.

* Proficient with analytical reviews of check and/or credit card fraud.
* Experience reviewing and monitoring account activity for potential fraud AND utilizing alert-based systems for potential fraudulent activity.
* Strong understanding of fraud concepts, fraud controls, and process flows/systems.
* Experience identifying and reporting suspicious activity trends.
* Proficient in MS Suite, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint.
* Self-starter, prompt/timely, and strong organizational skills.
* Strong communication skills and able to not only identify deficiencies/risk with fraud, but formulate recommendations based on the analysis.
* Data analysis and recovery experience.
* Experience with fraud systems (Actimize, OASIS, Verafin).
* Experience with banking regulations with a fraud nexus (e.g. Regulations E and CC; Bank Secrecy Act; Identity Theft Red Flag Rule).
