Job Description

*This role is hybrid remote/onsite. Candidates MUST be local to Chicago, IL and comfortable being onsite in the downtown office 2-3 days per week. *

The Executive Assistant & Business Management Coordinator role provides Business Administration and Executive support to the CIO and SVP of IT. The responsibilities include managing the business administration functions for the leader, making day-to-day administrative and operational decisions. The Executive Assistant may also be responsible for coordinating the departments administrative activities and providing technical and administrative guidance and leadership to other administrative support staff.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree and/or 5+ years relevant work experience
Working knowledge of Technology and Operations business activities, and organization structure
Working knowledge of Technology Enterprises and external business partner relationships.
Good organization and administrative skills; capable of operating independently with minimal direction while keeping the executives informed of "variances to plan", potential problems and/or sensitive issues, etc.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of individuals at different levels in a wide range of situations, which usually requires tact, diplomacy, and discretion
Initiative and self-managing skills to be able to work independently with minimal direction and to respond effectively to issues that arise in the absence of the executives
Strong technical skills in Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, desktop publishing, as well as various types of office equipment and conference room technology
Must respond effectively to crises or emergency situations requiring quick judgment and prompt action

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Master's degree.
Experience supporting executives within a bank or financial services organization.
Longevity with organizations.
