Job Description
Overview
We are looking for a Construction Program Manager who has experience in the commercial space with some aviation. You will be responsible for overseeing the pre-construction process of multiple projects across different regions. You will help stand up different projects for scheduling, estimating, and scoping to then hand off to the local construction team. You will then work with the local design, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure that the projects meet the client's requirements, budget, and schedule. You will also coordinate with the local teams who will execute the construction phase. You will be a key point of contact for the client and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Day to day
- Review project scope, budget, schedule and specifications with the design team and contractors
- Coordinate and facilitate pre-construction meetings, site visits and risk assessments
- Monitor and track project progress, issues, changes and risks using appropriate tools and methods
- Coordinate with the design team, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance with the project requirements
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, clients, consultants and vendors
- Prepare and update project reports, documents and presentations as required
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards and regulations
- Communicate effectively with the project team, management, and clients on the status and performance of the pre-construction phase
Required Skills & Experience
Candidate Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- 10+ of experience in managing complex construction projects in the aviation or commercial space
- Strong knowledge of the pre-construction process, including design review, cost estimation, value engineering, risk management, and contract negotiation
- Experience building out a project scope, budget, and schedule for a local team
- Experience working with a Capital Improvement Plan (CIP)
