Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Field Implementation Specialist III for one of their largest airline clients in the Chicago area. This role is on-site at a data center in Rosemont, IL. Field Implementation Specialist will setup workstations, provide IT support, and network connection support. Person should be familiar with a variety of the Field Services concepts, practices, and procedures -- such as hands-on Tech Support. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks including Break-Fix and software support for a variety of computer equipment, physical site surveys and working in IDF and MDF rooms supporting the network infrastructure.



* Imaging desktops/workstations

* Hands-on IT support

* Working with switches and networking equipment

* Running fiber through switches

* Understanding and working alongside Network Engineers

* Knowledge of working with switches for upgrades

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:

* Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on IT/Network Support

* Experience with a ticketing system (i.e. ServiceNow)

* Experience setting up workstations, imaging sets/desktops.

* Experience working in an MDF (Main Distribution Frame) or IDF (Independent Distribution Frame) room.
