Insight Global is looking for a Field Implementation Specialist III for one of their largest airline clients in the Chicago area. This role is on-site at a data center in Rosemont, IL. Field Implementation Specialist will setup workstations, provide IT support, and network connection support. Person should be familiar with a variety of the Field Services concepts, practices, and procedures -- such as hands-on Tech Support. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks including Break-Fix and software support for a variety of computer equipment, physical site surveys and working in IDF and MDF rooms supporting the network infrastructure.
* Imaging desktops/workstations
* Hands-on IT support
* Working with switches and networking equipment
* Running fiber through switches
* Understanding and working alongside Network Engineers
* Knowledge of working with switches for upgrades
