Insight Global is looking for a Accounts Receivable Specialist to work on site in Bolingbrook, IL that will be reporting to the Controller/ Finance Manager. The Accounts Receivable Specialist processes incoming payments from customers, reviews and tracks invoices to customers, reviews cash receipts, and allocates payments against specific transactions.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
· Actively participates in preparation, consolidation and reporting of company financials regarding purchasing with properly posting monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually according to the company and group policies relations with shareholders
· Processes payments received from customers
· Processes credits to customers' accounts and posts trading agreements related postings
· Actively works in new customer set up process, be a backup for other accountant/bookkeeper responsible for customer set up, and works to set up credit limit for new customers
· Prepares monthly trade receivables and other related reports
· Follows up and tracks payments from customers/preparation of checks received to be ready to be post/scanned to the bank
· Reconciles daily bank transactions regarding collections from customers
· Actively participates in credit risk management process and management of the credit risk portal and compliance with SAP
· Reports quarterly turnover data to Credit Risk Portal and review the credit limit need of customers
· Works through Amazon account and online sales reconciliation
· Actively participates in preparing and implementing the company policy and procedures under the supervision of senior accountant
· A Bachelor's Degree in Economics. Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is required
· Min. 2 years' total experience with the same length functional experience is required, sector experience will be preferred
· Technical knowledge around SAP and other ERP systems preferred
