A client is seeking a Production Supervisor to sit in the Decatur, IL area. This person will be leading the technician team at a commercial heat-exchange company. This team manufactures heat exchangers for enterprise-level clients across the world. 20-30% of this position will require working with internal and external sales teams to understand what each order looks like, 30-40% will be working in the shop with the team while the rest will be managerial duties (scheduling, timesheets, PTO, etc.) There will be travel involved in this role around the mid-west so this person will need to have a flexible schedule.
Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (Supervisor, Lead, Foreman, etc.)
OSHA certifications (30 is ideal)
Exp with Pumps, Boilers, chillers, or heat exchange (can also be someone from a chemical plant)
