Materials/Procurement Specialist

Insight Global's client in the utilities industry is looking for a Material Specialist to assist their procurement team. This person will be responsible for tracking PO numbers and materials all the way from ordering certain items to receiving them. The ideal candidate has about 5 years of experience within procurement and is knowledgeable in data analytics. This person will be responsible for reviewing PO numbers and invoices to check for any discrepancies.

* Understands procurement processes

* Working knowledge of purchase requisitions and purchase orders

* Working knowledge of tracking materials from ordering through receiving

* Ability to analyze data, identify anomalies, and resolve issues

* Attention to detail to ensure invoices charged to correct accounts/projects

* Ability to work with others to document and resolve issues

* Good written and verbal communication skills

* Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup functions, etc.)

* Maximo/Oracle experience preferred
