Job Description
Day to day:
Our client is looking for an AV Tech to join this team on the Evanston campus. They will set up, operate, maintain all equipment used in classrooms such as microphones, document cameras, projectors, confidence monitors, resident laptop, clicker, etc. They will provide technical support for public areas including kiosks, printer, digital signage, LCDs and phones. This role is supporting students, faculty, and staff so they must be comfortable working within that space. Professionalism and reliability is an absolute must!
Required Skills & Experience
Must Haves:
* 1+ year of experience in IT end-user services and/or AV support
* Excellent customer service skills (in-person/remote support)
* Proficiency in MS Office, Windows OS and Mac OS
* Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking
* Intermediate skills supporting/troubleshooting audio visual systems
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Plusses:
* Background supporting a higher ed environment
* College degree
* Ticketing experience (Remedy, ServiceNow, etc)
* A+, Microsoft, Apple certifications
* Basic experience troubleshooting Windows/Apple hardware
