Job Description

This Marketing Manager will be working for a global financial services company working within retail lending side of this bank including products such as so mortgages, personal loans, helocs. They will work on pre screen and direct mail marketing campaigns, and email marketing campaigns doing execution based work. This role is mostly executional, being 80% executional and 20% strategic/creative. They will work on mostly traditional marketing campaigns, with some digital elements such as email.

They will manage the entire marketing process such as:

- Submitting an intake to creative team for a new campaign

- Submitting updates to the website

- Get approvals on campaign components from product, compliance, sending final files to vendors, heavy marketing coordination

- Sit in meetings with analytics to go over reporting, give intakes regarding reports

- Communicating with partners on product information including what they are selling and the components involved

- Work with creative teams to produce mail and email, as well as work with creative vendors

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of Marketing experience, coordinating marketing components

Financial services experience

Self starter, go getter, confident, take ownership on projects, run with things with little management, hard worker, ability to know the right questions to ask and when to take the lead

Agency background, or experience working with vendors

Email and direct mail channel experience

Longevity with companies throughout their career

Bachelor's degree in: Marketing, Advertising, or Business

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Personal Loans, CDs, mortgages

Numbers driven, understands ROI, cost benefit analysis

Based out of Chicago, or the bay area
