Blue Yonder SCPO Engineer

* Project based role -- big ramp up of knowledge transfer. Some of the projects have been sitting on the shelf for a while. For BY SCPO, it will be a lot of looking into a business request for a project that we need to figure out how to make it work within BY. Working with the interface team that does the ETL work that will need new data brought into BY, so figuring out how to integrate that data into the ecosystem.

* Skills in defining the following:

o Unix shell scripts for custom logic, new automated data imports, etc.

o Comfortable with creating User Defined Tables, User Defined Columns, and User Defined User Interfaces

o Ability to quickly learn the company's implementation strategy.

Recommend ways to solve various business needs, including where best to implement (whether within the package, or in our ETL layer)

o Ability to estimate effort proposed solution alternatives, so that we can choose the optimal solution, or to derive budgetary estimates for new proposed ideas

o Coordinate closely and seamlessly with other solution providers, business, other internal IT groups.

* BY SCPO Dynamic Allocation

* BY Inventory Optimization

* Familiarity with ETL, in particular Talend, which is our upstream and downstream integration to and from the BY product.

* It would be helpful to have experience/awareness of using external forecasting solutions with this suite of products (as we do not use BY's Demand Forecasting capabilities).

* Any knowledge of future BY versions and BY's SaaS solutions may be helpful, as well.
