Job Description

Activating on personalization at scale is critical to Hyatt's digital growth plans, with the goal to individualize the end-to-end experience, from acquisition to discovery, booking, stay, and post-stay reactivation.



The vision is to deliver the best contextually relevant product, offer or content to our guests, at scale across digital channels (such as web, mobile site, e-mail, app, paid media, social media, etc.) and offline channels (such as direct mail, point of sale, contact centers etc.) At the heart of this vision is a personalization platform (or Hyatt's Personalization Engine -- HPE); a decision-engine that leverages advanced AI/ML to fuel personalized content delivery across all touchpoints. Core components of the HPE include: 1) centralized system to manage the offer content; 2) enterprise business rules engine; 3) AI/ML powered recommendations engine -- with centralized modeling and scoring, utilizing full breadth of consumer data; 4) campaign & journey management capabilities; 5) offer management system; 6) omni-channel distribution enablement -- via a robust API layer; 7) core orchestration layer -- that tie everything together built fully cloud native serverless infrastructure.

This role will assist in creation and delivery personalized guest experiences for our guests and support their delivery.

Responsibilities

* HTML, CSS, and JS content experiences that are delivered via email, sms or web that are personalized though use of a handlebars templating engine.

* Creation of re-usable components that allow us to maintain a constant brand experience across our communication channels as the company evolves.

* Translation of events, guest and property profiles and promotion metadata into rich personalized content and experiences that drive value for our guests and drive revenue.

* Support of the delivery pipeline that includes calling into REST Web Services for final delivery, and selection personalized content using JS/TypeScript/Node.js with the support of more backend focused developers.

* Working with UX, Designers and Product to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

* Participate in Agile ceremonies as part of the SDLC.

* Develop, implement, and configure web content management solutions using AEM (Adobe CQ) and technologies such as Java, HTML/DHTML, XML, JavaScript, and web services.

* Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by suggesting improvements to our processes, product and architecture.

Required Skills & Experience

* Experience with the constraints of HTML and CSS in email is desirable.

* Experience with React JS, Bootstrap 3, CSS Preprocessors (LESS / SASS)

* Exposure to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) our CMS is better to have it.
