Day to day:
Our client is looking for a Jr Systems Administrator to join the infrastructure team of 6 people. On a day to day, this person will be working under the guidance of the Director and fellow peers, this role is responsible for installing, configuring, monitoring, managing, securing, supporting, and troubleshooting active directory organizational units, groups and group policy, Office 365 applications, operating systems, network services, storage, virtualization, and hardware. As the Jr Systems Administrator, you will support the firm's data center and cloud infrastructure and is expected to perform functions to plan, monitor, maintain, update, and provide security and support to server assets including the network, servers, and support all members of the team by analyzing and troubleshooting systems and software. This role will handle a variety of projects to support, improve the organization's systems and technology, and looking for someone who is eager to learn new tools.
Required Skills & Experience
Must Haves:
NEED TO SIT IN CHICAGOLAND AREA TO GO IN 1 TIME A MONTH
* 3+ years of experience managing SCCM
* 3+ years' experience of active directory management
* 3+ years' experience managing virtual servers using VMWare (tools, drivers, etc.)
* 3+ years of experience with Linux and Windows server operating systems
* Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing
* Ability to focus on root cause analysis during incident resolution and problem management
* HS diploma or GED
* Fully Vaccinated and Boosted
