Job Description

The Fraud Risk & Governance Officer will report to the Director of US Region Fraud Risk and Governance, and work closely with the Fraud team as well as Operational Risk, Fraud Risk Management, and Compliance partners. Fraud Risk & Governance is responsible for developing and implementing well managed risk practices that fit within the overall risk framework and ensuring activities do not exceed the risk tolerance of the organization. This role will assist in the design, implementation, and management of the fraud risk program for the US Region. The role includes working with lines of business to mitigate fraud exposure and to support a strong understanding of the organizations fraud experience. The successful candidate will be a source of expertise in fraud regulatory expertise and guidance to the US Regional Fraud Management team and be involved in many aspects related to fraud training, investigations, and risk assessments for new products, third party providers

Required Skills & Experience

* 6-8 years of fraud experience focused in risk and governance

o Proficiency in fraud concepts, process flows, and fraud controls

* Experience with a bank OR working with a financial/banking end client

* Strong knowledge of banking product, services, channels and the associated risks, with acknowledged expertise in at least one of these categories.

* Expertise in banking regulations with a fraud nexus (e.g. Regulations E and CC; Bank Secrecy Act; Identity Theft Red Flag Rule)

* Strong communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with executives and all business lines

* Experience with Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
