Construction Superintendent - Dry Mechanical Systems

An Insight Global customer in the construction industry is seeking to hire a superintendent to oversee a the dry mechanical systems for a mega project in Boise, ID. This project is multiple billions of dollars in total budget, is supporting a high-tech manufacturing client, and is expected to last into 2028. As a superintendent in this role, you'll be expected to coordinate and supervise daily construction activities with other superintendents, subcontractors and trades teams, maintain your scope's project schedule, costs and quality control, and ensure a safe environment for yourself and the job site at large. The specific scope of work for this role will be dry mechanical systems such as HVAC, compressed air, gas lines, vacuum systems, etc. The initial contract will last 12 months, but extensions are likely. We can offer pay at $75/hr for this role as well as a generous per diem package for candidates who qualify. Exact compensation may differ due to education or experience. Candidates can expect to work 50-60 hours per week, if not more on occasion as needed. Generally it is expected that employees in this role arrive to the job site early around 6 AM, but there may be some flexibility required with other shifts.

10 years of experience as a superintendent supporting MEP projects.
Experience supporting mega or high-tech industrial projects.
Experience managing RFIs, cost controls, schedule and QA/QC programs for the construction of HVAC, exhaust, gas, compressed air and/or vacuum systems.
OSHA 30 certification.
Experience using Procore to track and update field progress.

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineer, civil engineer, electrical engineering, construction management or other relevant field of study.
