Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Truss and EWP drafter. This candidate will be responsible for: Providing design and drafting services for Engineered Wood Products (EWP) and Truss Design, including customer quotes, material take-offs, and manufacturing plans. Prepare and prioritize drawings using manual or computer-aided systems such as AutoCAD. Maintain drafting files, schedule deliveries, and offer technical consulting. Make sales calls and initiate telephone sales for EWP and accessories. Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Perform other duties as assigned.

5+ years of experience as a Designer
AutoCAD experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Strong communication skills
Previous role within the engineering wood product industry such as Weyerhaeuser
