Job Description

Insight Global's client in Boise ID, is looking for a temporary Legal assistant for a general litigation firm approximately 3 months. The legal assistant is responsible for providing a broad range of legal administrative support utilizing knowledge in legal terminology, procedures, and document preparation. This position supports three attorneys. The legal assistant must be versed in both federal and state court procedures and filing requirements, including electronic filing in various jurisdictions.



Manages attorney/paralegal calendars, including deadlines, appointments, and reminders.

Arranges meetings, travel, and conferencing needs, and keeps the team informed of important dates.

Organizes and maintains client files, both electronic and paper.

Transcribes, drafts, revises, and proofreads various legal documents.

Ensures accuracy of all work products, including those created by others.

Provides backup support during absences and prioritizes work assignments effectively.

Acts as a liaison between attorneys/paralegals and clients, delivering exceptional client services.

Files documents electronically with courts and retrieves necessary court documentation.

Manages CLE and other professional association files, including registrations and tracking credits.

Reviews client billing guidelines, assists with invoice review, and submits vendor invoices for payment.

Prepares hearing, deposition, and trial materials, and assists with trial preparation.

Processes incoming and outgoing mail for attorneys/paralegals.

Assists with opening and closing files, tracking statistics as requested.

Maintains confidentiality, works proactively, and ensures thoroughness and accuracy.

Assists with training and mentoring co-workers and new employees.

Maintains a professional and courteous attitude, even in high-stress situations.
