Web Application Developer

Responsibilities



Support current code base with bug fixes and feature enhancements



Work with project manager and internal development team to deliver dev tasks on time



Refactor and upgrade existing code base



Support QA and UAT efforts to ensure code coverage and robust test case scenarios



Interact with project and client teams to ensure we have proper business and technical requirements for development efforts



Understand UI/UX, cross-browser compatibility, mobile web compatibility, and general web functionality and standards



Experience utilizing web applications and programming languages, as well as integration with TPA-third party applications



Meeting with clients or management to discuss the design plan and development needs of the website



Writing code for the website



Collaborating with team members to determine the website's layout, content, and design



Integrating graphics, audio, and video into the website



Creating and testing applications for the website



Monitoring website traffic and making adjustments and recommendations to lower abandon rates, etc.

Required Skills



Strong expertise with Vue.js



Familiarity with .NET and C# to support back end code



5+ years of experience in web development



Webpack or similar front-end development tools



CSS



Knowledge of ecommerce web development

Prefered



Experience with Vue 2 to Vue 3 migration highly desirable



Industry knowledge in electrical engineering. An EE degree is preferred but a degree is not required.



Experience with Kentico CMS is helpful but not required
