Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a senior Project Manager to support an accelerated telecommunications and Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure modernization initiative driven by heightened cybersecurity risk. This role will lead planning, coordination, scheduling, and tracking for large-scale physical infrastructure upgrades across multiple sites and islands.
This is not a software SDLC PM role. The focus is on telecom, physical infrastructure, logistics, and multi-site deployment coordination in a fast‑paced utility environment.

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, and coordination for telecom and OT infrastructure upgrades
Coordinate logistics including:
Equipment procurement and purchase orders
Delivery sequencing
Resource scheduling
On-site installation coordination
Manage multi-site deployments across buildings, power plants, and locations
Track progress, risks, dependencies, costs, and schedules using standard tools
Partner closely with technical SMEs who provide engineering and technical oversight
Coordinate internal teams and external installers/vendors
Prepare and present project status, schedule, and cost reports
Identify risks early and drive mitigation plans
Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, regulatory requirements, and audit expectations
Support emergency response activities as required

Project Scope-
Programs Supported:
Telecommunications Infrastructure
OT Infrastructure (SCADA, PLCs, firewalls at plant sites)

Estimated Scale:
~1,000 devices upgraded
Routers, switches, Wi‑Fi, telecom equipment, firmware patching, and hardened replacements
~10–20 resources
Field crews and subcontractors perform installations; PM manages planning and coordination
No permitting, site inspections, or engineering licensure required

Location: Hawaii (Oahu preferred; Maui or Big Island acceptable)
Work Model: Hybrid (2–5 days/week on-site required)

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of project management experience
Strong background in physical infrastructure or installation‑based projects, such as:
Telecommunications
Utilities
Construction or facilities
DoD or similar environments
Proven experience managing:
Equipment procurement and logistics
Multi-site deployments
Resource and installation scheduling
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, fast‑moving projects with tight timelines
