Job Description
A Federal client of Insight Global is looking to hire a Mid-Level Network Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate would have 5+ years of Networking experience and experience with the required technologies. Day to day for this role will include supporting network engineering operations, configuring and securing multivendor networks, applying DoD STIGs/IAVAs, managing PKI and cross-domain solutions, development of scripts, documentation, and providing tier 2 and 3 technical support for the team. Active Top Secret Clearence required. This role is a 6-month contract to hire in Honolulu, HI.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5 or more years of experience in Network engineering.
• Bachelors of Associates Degree reqired- BA/BS = 5 years; AA=7 years
• Top Secret OR Higher OR Secret Clearance level with completed T5 investigation
• Familiarity with remote Networking Sites. Ability to designs, develop, implement, test, and maintains complex secure communications networks.
• Must have experience with one or more networking vendors: Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, etc.
• Must be proficient in multivendor networking environments in configuring firewalls, Intrusion Prevention/Detection systems, VPN gateways, routers, and switches (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Cisco ASA, etc.) .
• Experience configuring/managing PKI Certificate Authorities.
• Be able to develop and modify system scripts (powershell, Python, Etc).
• Ability to create IPSec tunnels.
• Ability to manage and apply DoD STIGs and IAVAs.
• Familiarity with Certificate Authority configuration (ISC CertAgent/MS Windows Server/Red Hat Certificate systems).
• Active Professional Network certification (CCNP-Security, CCNA, HPE Aruba Networking Certified Professional – Switching, etc.)
• One of the following DoD8140 Certifications:
○ SecurityX/CASP+
○ CCNA
○ CCNP Security
○ CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)
○ GCED (GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender)
○ GCIA (GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst)
○ GCLD (GIAC Cloud Security Essentials)
○ GDSA (GIAC Defensible Security Architecture)
○ GFACT (GIAC Foundational Cybersecurity Technologies)
• Must be able to perform successfully in complex, unstructured situations.
• Ability to work on site or relocate to work on-site in Honolulu, HI.

• Certificate Revocation List (CRL) experience
• Lennox Experience
