Our client is a seeking a Product Research Specialist (Payroll Tax Analyst) to join their team!

This position researches, identifies and interprets the payroll tax and associated tax reporting rules and regulations that are incorporated within the company's products and services.
Responsibilities
* Perform duties under general directions from the Product Research Team Lead.
* Identify and interpret payroll tax regulatory information
* Interact with Customer Support, Certification, Data Specialists and Business Analysts
* Maintain currency of industry wide application knowledge to support the company's products
* Complete Customer research requests providing proper supporting documentation
* Keep abreast of legislative updates, for assigned authorities, that affect payroll/tax regulatory compliance
* Other responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
*Qualified candidates must sit in GA, FL, TX, VA, PA, KS, OH, NV, or IL*
* Experience in payroll tax compliance research
* Undergraduate degree in Accounting, preferred
* Other Undergraduate degree with minimum 1+ years payroll and/or payroll tax reporting experience
OR
* No degree with minimum 3+ years payroll and/or payroll tax reporting experience
* 1+ years of recent and relevant work experience
* Proficient in the use of Internet applications and Microsoft Office suite
* Excellent communications, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills
* Ability to multi-task and quickly learn and effectively understand new concepts and functions
* Strong results orientation, highly motivated and detail-oriented
Desired Skills
* Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) a plus
