Angular Full Stack Agentic Developer

An insurance industry client of Insight Global is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with deep Angular expertise and experience leveraging AI-enabled development tools to accelerate software delivery. This team supports a global policy and claims management platform, which powers customer service operations for warranty, insurance, and protection plans across connected devices and home appliances. The pay rate for this role ranges based on years of experience between $65-75/hour

This is a mission-critical application responsible for supporting claims and policy servicing workflows, including filing claims for damaged devices, scheduling repair services, managing policy changes, cancellations, and other customer-facing support operations. As part of a broader modernization initiative, this engineer will play a key role in enhancing platform capabilities, improving user experiences, and accelerating development through AI-assisted engineering practices.

The ideal candidate is an accomplished Front-End focused Full Stack Engineer who combines strong Angular development skills with practical experience utilizing Agentic AI workflows, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar AI development tools to improve productivity, automate development tasks, and accelerate delivery. This individual will remain accountable for end-to-end solution ownership while leveraging AI to enhance efficiency throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications supporting Assurant's global claims and policy operations platform.
Lead front-end development efforts using Angular 19/20 while contributing across the full stack.
Build scalable, secure, and highly available applications within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows to accelerate design, development, testing, and delivery.
Collaborate closely with architects, backend engineers, and UX resources to modernize the platform.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and deployment processes using Azure DevOps.
Participate in architectural discussions focused on scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
Drive end-to-end ownership from solution design through production deployment and support.
Contribute to modernization initiatives involving micro-frontend architectures and cloud-native application patterns.
Ensure applications meet security, performance, and operational excellence standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile

A senior Angular-focused engineer who has embraced AI-enabled software development, understands how to architect and leverage agentic workflows, and can deliver enterprise-scale applications quickly without sacrificing quality, security, or maintainability. This person should be able to explain not just what AI tools they use, but how those tools have fundamentally improved their development process and delivery outcomes.

-8-10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
-Expert-level Angular development experience, ideally with Angular 19 or Angular 20.
-Strong Full Stack development background with:
Angular
.NET Core (.NET 8/10 preferred)
RESTful APIs
Modern web application architecture
-Hands-on experience within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
-Experience building and maintaining Azure DevOps pipelines.
-Strong understanding of:
CI/CD
Automated testing
End-to-end testing frameworks
Release automation
-AI-Enabled Engineering Experience
-Demonstrated experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools such as:
GitHub Copilot

-Experience designing and implementing agentic AI workflows that improve engineering productivity.
-Ability to articulate how AI has been used to accelerate software delivery, testing, documentation, or development processes.
Comfortable serving as an AI-enabled engineer while maintaining full ownership of solution quality and delivery.
Architecture & Scalability
Experience designing applications with security-first principles.
Experience building scalable applications supporting large user populations.
Understanding of modern frontend architecture patterns, including micro-frontends.
Knowledge of application performance optimization and enterprise-scale web applications.

Experience modernizing legacy enterprise applications.
Experience supporting customer service, claims, policy administration, insurance, warranty, or call-center platforms.
Prior experience implementing micro-frontend architectures.
Experience working within highly regulated or customer-facing environments.
Atlanta-area candidates preferred for periodic in-person collaboration.
