Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Senior Technical Delivery Manager / Technical Program Manager to serve as the key liaison between software development teams, integration teams, commissioning teams, engineering stakeholders, and customers throughout the implementation lifecycle of large-scale warehouse automation solutions. This is a highly customer-facing role responsible for driving technical delivery, managing cross-functional coordination, and ensuring successful deployment of Warehouse Execution Systems (WES) and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS).

Unlike a traditional project management role, this position requires a strong technical foundation and the ability to lead conversations around software architecture, system functionality, integration strategies, testing approaches, and deployment readiness. This individual will act as the first point of contact for customers regarding technical questions, issues, and delivery concerns, helping resolve challenges proactively before they escalate to leadership teams.

The ideal candidate possesses a blend of technical expertise, customer-facing communication skills, and delivery leadership experience. They should be comfortable working directly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, driving alignment across development and field teams, and ensuring technical priorities are effectively executed throughout the full project lifecycle. Significant travel will be required, including domestic and international travel, with current projects supporting customers across the United States and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers and internal delivery teams
• Drive end-to-end technical delivery from implementation through deployment and go-live
• Coordinate efforts across software development, integration, engineering, testing, and commissioning teams
• Lead customer-facing discussions regarding system functionality, architecture, integrations, and technical decisions
• Manage onsite priorities and support issue resolution during implementation activities
• Provide technical leadership throughout functional testing, integration testing, and deployment efforts
• Partner with development teams to align product priorities with field and customer requirements
• Communicate project status, risks, technical challenges, and delivery updates to stakeholders
• Support troubleshooting efforts and drive resolution of complex technical issues
• Ensure successful execution across the full software delivery lifecycle

Compensation:
$63/hr to $66/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
