Day to Day:
Insight Global is seeking a Windows System Administrator I to support and maintain a mixed Windows and macOS enterprise environment. This role is responsible for managing Windows servers and endpoints, supporting Apple devices, deploying applications, maintaining VMware environments, and providing technical support to end users. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong troubleshooting skills and experience administering modern endpoint management and virtualization technologies. This is a 6 month contract-to-hire based on performance and deliverable completion

Required Skills & Experience
Desired Skills and Experience:
• 1-3 years of Windows System Administration experience
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience supporting: Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) & Windows 10/11
• Familiarity with Apple macOS administration and enterprise device management
• Hands-on experience with application deployment tools such as: SCCM, Intune, JAMF, or similar EMPs
• Basic VMware experience, including: vSphere, ESXi, Virtual machine management
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
• Experience with patch management and system security best practices
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Plusses:
• Microsoft certifications (MCSA, Azure Fundamentals, or similar)
• Experience with cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP
• Advanced experience with enterprise device management tools
• Additional virtualization administration experience
Experience integrating Apple devices within enterprise environments
