Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior BIM Engineer with strong Revit design capability to support a hyperscale data center program. This role will be based out of our corporate headquarters in Atlanta, GA in order to work directly with our engineering consulting team. These roles will design models within Autodesk Revit 2025, producing model-based design deliverables that progress from the current baseline through coordinated, construction-ready submittals and as-built turnover, fully integrated into Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) VDC environment in accordance with the project BIM Execution Plan.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a BIM designer who can author BMS / EPMS systems natively in Revit, translate design intent into coordinated, construction-ready deliverables, and integrate cleanly into the ACC VDC workflow. This person is comfortable bridging controls engineering and BIM coordination in a fast-paced data center environment where design accuracy, model integrity, and schedule discipline directly impact commissioning success.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of Autodesk Revit design experience

5+ years of BIM engineering experience or mechanical or electrical design experience using Revit.

Experience collaborating with BMS / BAS / EPMS (or industrial automation) controls engineers, combined with hands-on Revit / BIM design.

Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, P&IDs, control schematics, points lists, and sequences of operation.

Working knowledge of control panels, PLC / DDC hardware, I/O modules, field devices, network architecture, and low-voltage controls wiring.

Hyperscale data center or mission-critical (Pharma, Hospitals, k-12) BIM experience.

Familiarity with BIM coordination, clash detection, LOD progression, and ACC / Navisworks workflows.

Strong attention to detail, document-control discipline, and ability to manage deliverables under aggressive schedules.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, Ignition SCADA, BACnet/IP, Modbus TCP, EPMS, and BMS / BAS platforms.

Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore, SharePoint, and ACC / Forma, plus 30% / 60% / 90% / IFC / as-built cycles.

PE / EIT, controls, or Autodesk Revit credentials are preferred but not required.
