Job Description
A client of Insight Global We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help build, automate, and maintain scalable cloud
infrastructure while supporting software engineering teams in delivering secure and reliable
applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about automation, Infrastructure as Code,
CI/CD, and modern cloud-native technologies, with a strong focus on operational excellence
and continuous improvement
Compensation:
$25/hr to $30/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure across multiple environments.
● Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery.
● Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
● Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve deployment processes and
platform reliability.
● Monitor production environments, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system
performance.
● Implement and maintain security best practices across infrastructure and deployment
pipelines.
● Manage secrets, configuration, and environment-specific deployments.
● Contribute to disaster recovery, backup, and platform resilience strategies.
● Participate in architecture discussions and continuously improve operational
processes.
Strong experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
Platform (GCP).
● Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, or
similar tools.
● Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
● Strong knowledge of Docker and containerized applications.
● Experience with Linux administration and shell scripting.
● Experience with monitoring and observability solutions.
● Knowledge of networking fundamentals, security, and identity management.
● Experience working with Git and modern software development workflows.
● Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
● Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms.
● Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
● Familiarity with managed databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
● Experience with Infrastructure Security and Identity Management.
● Exposure to AI infrastructure or MLOps environments.
● Experience supporting financial services or other highly regulated industries.
● Programming experience with Python, C#, or another scripting/programming
language.
