Job Description
The Home Depot is seeking a Product Manager to support critical finance technology initiatives within a fast-paced, highly visible organization. This individual will manage products and projects that support major company initiatives, including finance-focused technology transformations and store onboarding efforts tied to the organization's transition from legacy systems to SAP.
The ideal candidate combines strong product management fundamentals with business acumen, financial systems exposure, and the ability to influence stakeholders. This role requires someone who can successfully operate in both Agile and Waterfall environments while maintaining ownership of product priorities, backlog health, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage product initiatives within the Finance Technology organization.
• Own and maintain product backlogs, ensuring priorities align with business objectives.
• Create and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements within Jira.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Partner closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and leadership to drive product delivery.
• Support major enterprise initiatives, including:
○ Store onboarding programs
○ Finance-related technology transformation projects
○ Operational support and “Keep the Lights On” (KTLO) initiatives
• Present updates during Monthly Product Reviews (MPRs) and Quarterly Product Planning Reviews (PPRs).
• Track product performance, project status, risks, and dependencies.
• Challenge existing processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, automation, and innovation.
• Leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve workflows and business outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with business partners while balancing competing priorities and advocating for the most valuable work.

Required Skills & Experience
• 2–3+ years of Product Management experience.
• Experience managing technology products in a corporate environment.
• Exposure to financial systems, finance operations, accounting, budgeting, or related business functions.
• Experience working in Agile environments with familiarity in Scrum practices.
• Proficiency with Jira for backlog and product management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and influence stakeholders.
• Comfortable presenting to leadership teams and business partners.
