Job Description

Compensation:
$25/hr to $30/hr. - Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

We are seeking experienced Data Center Technicians to support large-scale deployment and operations activities within one of the world's leading cloud and AI infrastructure environments.
This role is responsible for executing data center deployment, installation, break/fix, troubleshooting, and infrastructure support activities across multiple campuses. Technicians will work directly from assigned work queues, tickets, project plans, and client-provided priorities to ensure equipment is installed, maintained, and deployed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
The ideal candidate is highly dependable, technically capable, detail-oriented, and thrives in fast-paced environments where quality, execution speed, and operational excellence are critical.
Key Responsibilities
Deployment & Installation

Install, decommission, relocate, and replace server, storage, and network hardware
Perform rack-and-stack activities for new infrastructure deployments
Install and replace components including servers, switches, PDUs, network devices, optics, memory, drives, and GPUs
Support hardware refresh, migration, expansion, and lifecycle replacement projects
Execute work according to established SOPs, MOPs, and client standards

Break/Fix & Troubleshooting

Respond to hardware incidents and break/fix tickets
Troubleshoot server, storage, and network-related issues
Replace failed hardware components and document corrective actions
Escalate complex issues when necessary
Maintain high levels of ticket quality and documentation accuracy

Cabling & Infrastructure Support

Install, route, label, troubleshoot, and remove structured cabling
Support fiber and copper infrastructure deployments
Assist with network equipment installation and connectivity validation
Ensure all cabling standards and quality requirements are followed

Operational Excellence

Complete assigned work safely, accurately, and within required service levels
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
Follow change management, quality assurance, and safety procedures
Support inventory audits, equipment tracking, and asset management activities when required
Participate in shift turnover and operational handoffs

Required Skills & Experience

Required Qualifications

3+ years of data center, infrastructure, field services, or enterprise IT support experience
Experience installing and troubleshooting server and network hardware
Experience with ticketing systems and operational workflows
Familiarity with hardware deployments and break/fix activities
Comfortable working in large-scale, fast-paced environments
Ability to read and follow technical documentation and work procedures

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred Qualifications

Prior hyperscale data center experience
Experience supporting Microsoft, AWS, Google, Meta, or similar environments
CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, or equivalent certifications
Experience supporting GPU infrastructure deployments
Experience with fiber and structured cabling
