Job Description
Hands-on electronics tech supporting rework, assembly, testing, and packaging of hardware products for underground electrical monitoring systems. This is a production floor role with a mix of PCB work, mechanical assembly, and shipping prep.
Day-to-Day
Rework defective boards/components to spec
Perform soldering + touch-ups
Assemble units (electronics + mechanical components)
Run functional/physical tests + log results
Identify defects and escalate issues
Label, package, and prep units for shipment
Maintain documentation + follow ESD protocols

Required Skills & Experience
PCB-level electronics assembly (box build experience a plus)
Soldering (hand soldering + rework/touch-up – through-hole + SMT)
Ability to read drawings, work instructions, BOMs
Mechanical assembly (tools, enclosures, hardware)
Testing + troubleshooting (basic functional testing)
Packaging, labeling, and shipping prep experience
Strong attention to detail + quality mindset
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 certs
Experience in low/medium volume manufacturing
Electro-mechanical or sensor product exposure
