Supply Planner (Hybrid | Norcross, GA)
Contract (potential hire) Opportunity | Veritiv
We’re hiring a Supply Planner to join a leading packaging, print, and facility solutions provider (Veritiv). This is a great opportunity to step into a true planning role, own supplier relationships, and directly influence inventory strategy.
Location & Schedule
· Hybrid: 3 days onsite (Mon–Wed), 2 days remote (Th–F)
· Location: Norcross, GA
· Hours: 8–5 (flexible start times available)
What You’ll Be Doing
· Manage inventory planning and replenishment strategies for assigned items and suppliers
· Review daily replenishment recommendations and purchase requisitions
· Set and adjust key planning parameters (lead time, MOQ, segmentation, etc.)
· Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and reduce excess stock
· Partner with demand planning, sourcing, and suppliers to improve performance
· Resolve inventory and order issues (expediting POs, troubleshooting discrepancies)
· Use reporting and analytics to drive proactive inventory decisions
What You’ll Own
· Fill Rate (product availability)
· Days Inventory on Hand (DIOH) – optimizing inventory levels across your portfolio
You’ll have direct ownership over inventory decisions — how much to order, when to order, and how to balance supply vs demand.

Required Skills & Experience
· 1–3 years of experience in:
o Supply Planning
o Demand Planning
o Inventory Planning
· Experience owning a product group, suppliers, or inventory decisions
· Understanding of key supply chain concepts:
o Lead times
o Forecasting
o Replenishment strategies
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Nice to Have:
· Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.)
· Exposure to Oracle Fusion Cloud Replenishment Planning
· Experience working through a system or ERP transition
