Job Description

Insight Global is helping their client identity a DevOps Engineer. This person will work on the Automation Team and partner with the Lead DevOps Engineer to design, build, support, and continuously improve secure, reliable, and efficient software delivery capabilities across development teams. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on CI/CD pipelines, release tooling, developer enablement, and automation practices that improve delivery speed, consistency, quality, and compliance across the software delivery lifecycle. This role also contributes to engineering workflow enablement through automation, integration, and configuration within Jira and related delivery platforms. DevOps engineering and delivery automation are the primary focus of the position; Jira administration support is secondary and provided as needed to help improve the end-to-end flow of work from code creation through release.

Working closely with application teams, QA, Infrastructure, Security, and delivery stakeholders, this role helps reduce manual effort, improve tool adoption, and enable scalable, compliant, and efficient engineering practices across the enterprise.

This role is a 6 month contract to hire opening. The expectation is that this individual will convert full time and upon that conversion, salary expectations range from $110,000 to $140,000 per year.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role once converted include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with basic life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance, long-term disability, an employee assistance program, and MyAdvocate support. Employees also have access to supplemental or voluntary insurance options, a 401(k) plan with company match, and paid time off including vacation, holidays, and personal days, as well as paid maternity and paternity leave. Additional offerings include pre-tax health and dependent care spending accounts, a flexible benefit choice program, health reward dollars, discounts on gym reimbursements and identity theft programs, and access to legal services.
