Job Description

A fast-growing real estate debt platform specializing in hospitability lending is looking for a Capital Markets Associate/Director to join a growing team. This role sits at the intersection of capital markets execution and relationship management, supporting the structuring, reporting, and distribution of complex commercial loan portfolios while directly interfacing with banking and institutional partners

Job responsibilities include:
•End-to-end involvement with debt capital markets financing relationships
•Manage reporting and loan covenant requirements for each of our capital markets transactions
•Direct involvement in capital markets initiatives such as CLOs, securitizations, repurchase agreements, and credit facilities.
•Help improve general operational efficiency by collecting, managing and organizing documents such as 3rd party reports (appraisals etc.), loan documents, creating spreadsheets and checklists to coordinate with various internal teams.
•Exposure to various complex financial models to calculate investment returns and manage debt covenants, this role will be responsible for updating and maintaining models.
•Coordination with various internal departments to collect and manage data at regular intervals (ex. Monthly or quarterly reports).
•Updating presentations for external investors

Required Skills & Experience

-4-6 Years of experience in capital markets, commercial real estate, or within loan origination or syndications team at a bank.
-On site requirement Mon-Thurs, WFH Friday
-Experience originating, maintaining, and expanding relationships with:
Borrowers / sponsors
Banks, debt funds, and capital providers
Internal investment / credit teams
-Strong financial modeling skills (Excel) and ability to analyze real estate fundamentals, capital stacks, and valuation driver
-Ability to act as a trusted advisor and tailor financing solutions to client goals
-Comfortable leading client calls, presentations, and negotiations
-Able to review complicated legal documents.
-Demonstrated experience supporting or executing complex commercial real estate debt transactions, including underwriting, financial modeling, and loan syndication
-Strong understanding of capital markets, credit risk, and deal structuring within a lending or advisory environment
-Strong understanding of investment concepts, including returns, capital structures, and risk assessment (not just underwriting mechanics)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Background in hospitality lending or specialty finance (relevant to Access Point Financial)
-Exposure to capital raising / investor relations
-Certifications such as CFA, CPA, or formal credit training
