Job Description
Insight Global is searching for an Electrical Field Engineer to support our client's work on a federal project on Fort Benning, GA. The Electrical Field Engineer will support U.S. Army Corps of Engineers construction activities at Fort Benning, overseeing electrical systems installation and ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and military requirements. This role will be responsible for field inspections, coordination with contractors and subcontractors, and resolving technical issues across new construction projects including barracks and a schoolhouse, as well as renovation work. The engineer will review drawings, track project progress, and support quality control and commissioning efforts to ensure timely and successful project delivery. Strong field experience in electrical construction, along with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-project environment, is essential.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10 years of experience in the electrical field within construction
- Demonstrated technical experience to perform inspections on switchgears, transformers, and other electrical equipment
- Experience working on a federal project, with a strong preference for experience supporting USACE specifically
