Position Overview
Southeast Georgia Health System (SGHS) is seeking an experienced Cloverleaf Architect to support and modernize its healthcare integration environment. This role will focus on architecting, supporting, and optimizing interface solutions that enable seamless data exchange across clinical, financial, and operational systems.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of experience with Cloverleaf (v6+), strong healthcare integration expertise, and hands‑on experience with Cloverleaf SaaS and/or Corepoint. This is a hybrid role based in Brunswick, GA, with a high likelihood of conversion after the initial 3‑month contract period.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the technical architect and subject matter expert for Cloverleaf integrations across the enterprise
Design, build, maintain, and optimize HL7, flat file, XML, and API‑based interfaces
Support and enhance integrations between EHRs, ancillary systems, third‑party vendors, and downstream applications
Provide architectural guidance and best practices for integration scalability, reliability, and performance
Troubleshoot complex interface issues and perform root‑cause analysis
Partner closely with application teams, infrastructure, vendors, and clinical stakeholders
Assist with migrations, upgrades, and modernization efforts (including SaaS and Corepoint environments)
Document integration architecture, standards, and operational procedures
Support on‑call or escalation needs as required in a healthcare environment

Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of hands on enterprise IT experience
2+ years of experience architecting solutions with Cloverleaf v6 or higher
Strong healthcare integration background, including HL7 v2.x messaging
Experience with Cloverleaf SaaS and/or Corepoint Integration Engine
Deep understanding of healthcare workflows and data interoperability
Proficiency with interface development, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience supporting or integrating with major EHR platforms (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech)
Familiarity with integration modernization or cloud‑based integration strategies
Prior experience in a hybrid or multi‑environment integration landscape
Healthcare IT certification(s) or integration‑specific certifications
