Job Description

- Directs, oversees and manages the Department of Real Estate Development and Asset Management which includes the Offices of Transit Oriented Development, Real Estate, and Art in Transit.
- Leads the department’s efforts in the predevelopment, financing, and execution of projects for owned and adjacent properties in a manner that increases ridership and revenue.
- Works to advance the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) within the division of Capital Programs, Expansion & Innovation (CPEI) by managing all activities related to real estate functions, projects and assets.
- Provides innovative, strategic leadership and oversight for public private partnerships and management of capital investments.
- Develops and implements agency wide short and long term strategies ensuring that resources are available and fully aligned to support overall strategic goals and objectives.
- Cultivates internal and external relationships and development opportunities with current and future business partners.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business administration, or a related discipline required; master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum thirteen years of professional management experience with six years at a senior level.
- Demonstrated expertise in real estate transactions, contract negotiation, public private partnerships, TOD, transportation policy, land use, and urban design.
- Real Estate License and/or Certified General Real Property Appraiser license preferred.
