This role is highly cross‑functional and requires someone who is data‑savvy, extremely solution‑oriented, and comfortable navigating complexity across IT, Product, Analytics, Merchants, and Finance.
The ideal candidate is a critical thinker and problem solver who can step into ambiguous situations, identify inefficiencies, and drive clarity, execution, and measurable improvement across multiple teams and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the primary project manager and operational partner for the Master Data Governance team, reporting directly to manager
• Serve as day‑to‑day visibility point, proactively identifying risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
• Lead and manage multiple concurrent initiatives across IT, Product, Analytics, and Business Stakeholders
• Partner with merchants, finance, analytics, and product teams to understand data needs, operational gaps, and dependencies
• Translate business and stakeholder needs into clear requirements and user stories, partnering with Product teams for execution
• Identify and resolve issues related to data taxonomy, hierarchy, and product data quality, escalating to Product and IT teams as needed
• Evaluate incoming work across tickets, enhancements, and new initiatives, helping prioritize what is truly high‑impact vs. “busy work”
• Drive operational efficiency improvements, asking “Is the team busy—or productively busy?”
• Maintain timelines, milestones, and delivery commitments, ensuring accountability across teams
• Identify and assess new data governance tools or platforms that could improve scalability, data quality, and efficiency
• Operate effectively in an environment with many moving parts, incomplete information, and evolving priorities
Compensation:
