Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a seeking a strong Senior level Java Developer to join a team responsible for core platforms supporting Digital Assets, Content, and Data Management. This role is ideal for someone who can ramp up quickly, take ownership of KTLO (Keep the Lights On) responsibilities early, and then transition into driving forward backlog feature work and technical improvements.


Rate Negotiable based on tenure and expertise: $10-15/HR USD

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of java development experience (mid to senior level).
Experience building and supporting backend services (REST APIs, service integrations, microservices or service-oriented architecture).
Proven ability to operate in a production support / KTLO environment: diagnosing issues, troubleshooting, and delivering reliable fixes.
Enterprise level background
Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals (OO design, data structures, testing practices, version control).
Experience working in Agile
Cloud - GCP preferred

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

React experience (nice-to-have) for supporting UI work or full-stack collaboration.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native services.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and modern DevOps practices.
Familiarity with content platforms, digital asset management, metadata/content pipelines, or data-driven systems.
