Job Description
Insight Global is assisting a client in identifying a Business Development Director to lead US Sales and GTM strategy with new logo acquisition and strategic account growth across key U.S. manufacturing verticals. This role is a senior individual contributor responsible for opening new enterprise accounts, expanding existing relationships, and driving revenue through consultative, solution‑based selling. This individual will own the full sales cycle for large, multi‑state enterprise accounts, developing strategic plans, deepening C‑level relationships, and driving revenue growth across accounts ranging from $1M to $6M+. This is a role for a proven hunter and strategist who can independently win enterprise clients, while expanding long‑term partnerships. This person would also be responsible for growing US sales team in the future.
Responsibilities:
• Build and execute comprehensive sales strategies for enterprise accounts, including revenue forecasting, account mapping, and executive relationship planning.
• Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market drivers within Manufacturing, Pharma, Life Sciences, FMCG, and Food & Beverage
• HUNT net new logos and green territories.
• Own the full sales cycle: prospecting → discovery → solution development → negotiation → close.
• Expand existing enterprise accounts by improving satisfaction, strengthening executive relationships, and ensuring superior service delivery.
• Partner with internal teams (Marketing, Field Sales, Service, Finance) to drive aligned execution.
• Identify and pursue new enterprise opportunities that meet revenue and central‑decision‑maker criteria.

Required Skills & Experience
Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience in business development, strategic account management, or enterprise sales
• Proven success selling technology‑driven solutions into manufacturing or industrial environments
• Demonstrated experience working across OT / IT ecosystems
• Strong background in at least three of the following:
○ Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
○ PI Historian or industrial data platforms
○ Simulation / Digital Twin solutions
○ Operational Technology (OT)
○ Industrial services, support, or consulting
• Experience selling into Manufacturing, Pharma, Life Sciences, FMCG, or Food & Beverage organizations
• Proficient with CRM tools (Salesforce, Dynamics, or similar)
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically
