Job Description

A growing clean‑energy manufacturing company is seeking a Process Chemist to support and optimize silicon solar cell production. This is a hands‑on, onsite role working directly with process engineers to analyze materials, troubleshoot process issues, and improve product performance in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related field

-1–3 years of hands‑on lab experience (industry or academic research)

-Strong understanding of lab safety and hazardous chemical handling

-Experience with analytical or materials characterization techniques

-Ability to analyze data and clearly communicate findings to technical teams

-Willingness to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation, including occasional off‑hours work

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Experience with silicon materials, semiconductors, or photovoltaic manufacturing

-Exposure to minority carrier lifetime testing (QSSPC, microwave PCD)

-Familiarity with XRF, ICP‑MS, EDS, or defect analysis techniques

-Microscopy experience (optical or electron)

-Understanding of how process chemistry impacts silicon performance and efficiency

-Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
