Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional for a contracting role that combines Python development with advanced networking expertise. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in network automation, scripting, and troubleshooting, along with mandatory certifications in Cisco and/or Juniper technologies.
1. Python Development:
• Develop, test, and maintain Python scripts for network automation and orchestration.
• Design and implement APIs or tools for network monitoring and management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Python-based solutions into existing systems.
2. Networking Expertise:
• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.) from Cisco and Juniper.
• Perform network performance analysis and optimization.
• Provide technical support for network-related issues and outages.
• Design and implement network architectures based on business needs.
3. Automation & Scripting:
• Leverage Python to automate network operations, including provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
• Work with tools like Ansible, Netmiko, NAPALM, or similar frameworks for network automation.
• Ensure scripts and automation workflows adhere to best practices and security standards.
4. Documentation & Reporting:
• Create and maintain technical documentation for scripts, configurations, and network designs.
• Generate reports on network performance, health, and capacity planning.
Pay Rate based on expertise: $10-13/HR

Required Skills & Experience
• Python Development: Proven experience in Python programming, especially for network automation and scripting.
• Networking Certifications:
o Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE).
o Juniper certifications (e.g., JNCIA, JNCIP, or JNCIE).
• Networking Protocols: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, and network security concepts.
• Hands-on Experience: Extensive experience with Cisco and Juniper networking equipment.
• Tools & Frameworks: Familiarity with network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Netmiko, NAPALM).
• Operating Systems: Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments for scripting and networking tasks.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
o Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
o Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies and network virtualization.
o Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
o Experience with REST APIs and JSON/YAML for network integrations.
o Exposure to monitoring tools like Nagios, SolarWinds, or Prometheu
