Job Description

A fortune 500 client of Insight Global is looking for a UX Designer/Researcher to join their team. This team is in the Supply Chain line of business and deals with inventory planning, distribution, and fulfillment. This person will be aligned to the main homegrown warehouse management application that is a responsive design with UI elements like tables, “CRUD” workflows. This person would be responsible for meeting with clients, identifying key features and upgrades and then designing those features and upgrades as well as testing and validating these features on a variety of different internal application. This team is looking for someone who is a great communicator with a variety of different client types, someone who is eager to learn and advance their career, and someone who is a team player. This role will be 50/50 research vs. design split.

Compensation:
$50/hr to $60/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong enterprise experience
• Working with competing requirements and multiple stakeholders
• Comfortable going into stores and conducting in person interviews
• Open to travel: 10-15% for user validation and pilot support (local and out-of-state).
• Experience with complex workflows, design systems, web applications (desktop and mobile), and the ability to estimate work/deliverables.
• Highly autonomous with a bias for action. Must be comfortable with change and proactively engaging users/operational partners. They need to be collaborative in design reviews, as they will be working within an established application with existing patterns, design system, and team

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Retail background
• UX Strategy experience: Service blueprints, journey mapping, voice of the user, etc.
• Experience with AI features such as FigmaMake
