Job Description

The opportunity:
• Facilitate the User Access Review (UAR) process. The UAR process is an IT SOX control requirement to ensure that users have appropriate application and platform access.
• Assist with the implementation of an automated solution to facilitate the user review process
• Assist with the IT SOX process and serve as a liaison with internal audit, external audit, and IT contacts.
• Perform other assigned IT security initiatives, if necessary, including areas such as security policies, training, awareness, and customer questionnaires.

How you will impact WestRock:
• Plan, execute, lead, and facilitate annual, semi-annual, and quarterly UAR’s for in-scope IT SOX applications, platforms, and tools.
• Work with IT and Business management to ensure reviews are appropriately executed, documented, and completed.
• Ensure that UAR’s and supporting documentation are complete, accurate, and finalized timely. This includes collecting user access listings, ensuring IT and business management respond to the reviews, and confirming access is appropriately updated.
• Assist with current state process documentation of the user review process
• Assist with future state process documentation, communication, training and campaign facilitation during the implantation of an automated solution for reviews.
• Support IT activities associated with the annual SOX audit. Collaborate with control and process owners to develop and implement corrective actions to address identified control deficiencies.
• Assist internal audit and external audit with requested information and facilitate the gathering of requests, as needed, with IT control and process owners.
• Provide periodic status reports as requested for areas of responsibility.
• Assist with other assigned IT security initiatives.

Pay Rate between $55.00-$65.00 depending on skills and experience.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT- or related field, or a similar level of training.
• 2-4 years experience in IT and/ or IT Security.
• 2-4 years of IT SOX, audit, or relevant compliance experience.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills, including interfacing effectively with a broad range of people and roles, such as senior leaders within IT, Accounting/ Finance, Internal Audit, Financial Compliance, and other corporate functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, research, analysis, and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; and the ability to take initiative with minimal direction to solve problems.
• Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills.
• Possess strong time management to meet deadlines.
• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills.
• Knowledge of, and experience with, current IT frameworks (e.g., NIST, SOX, ITIL). Experience with IT General Controls for SOX and processes will be a plus.
• Experience facilitating user access review processes
• Proficient with MS Office, especially MS Excel, and GRC Tools.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Proficient with Identity Governance Tools is preferred
• Related certifications preferred (e.g., CPA, CISA, CIA, etc.).
