Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing large‑scale electrical construction projects by managing labor, materials, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful project execution. This role serves as the primary coordinator between field teams, internal departments, and leadership while ensuring safety, quality, and profitability standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.

This position is based in Covington, GA, with project coverage across Metro Atlanta, West Atlanta, and Northwest Georgia toward Chattanooga, TN. The Project Manager must be able to work onsite and travel as needed, with limited work‑from‑home flexibility once trust and performance are established.

Required Skills & Experience

-5–6 years of Project Management experience in construction (4 years considered for exceptional candidates)
-Strong understanding of construction project management principles (electrical experience preferred but not required)
-Experience managing labor, materials, and project budgets on large construction projects
-Financial awareness to track costs and ensure project profitability
Strong planning, organizational, and time‑management skills
-Ability to allocate and manage resources efficiently, including staff and materials
-Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Experience identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies
-Ability to address and resolve project challenges, issues, and delays
-Procore experience (required)
-Experience reviewing and receiving submittals
-Ability to coordinate with BIM departments on builds and as‑built drawings
-Ability to work onsite with flexible travel across assigned territory
-Willingness to work construction hours (typically arriving at 6:30 AM and leaving when work is complete)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Electrical construction project management experience
-Experience managing multiple job sites simultaneously
-Prior experience working in Metro -Atlanta or Northwest Georgia markets
-Experience supporting large commercial or industrial construction projects
-Familiarity with Procore best practices beyond daily usage
-Comfort working in a fast‑paced environment with minimal ramp‑up time
