Job Description

The Chief of Staff (CoS) will serve as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team during a complex financial‑services merger. This role falls within the Integration Management Office (IMO) and acts as the operational nerve center for merger execution—driving alignment across business, technology, risk, legal, finance, and operations while ensuring transparency, pace, and accountability.
The Chief of Staff will help translate executive intent into executable actions, support governance and decision‑making, and ensure the merger delivers on its strategic, regulatory, and financial objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

8–12+ years of experience in strategy, program management, management consulting, or operational leadership roles within financial services (banking, credit union, payments, fintech, asset management, or insurance).
Direct experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or large‑scale integrations.
Strong executive presence with the ability to challenge constructively and influence without authority.
Proven experience working with senior leaders in fast‑paced, high‑stakes environments.
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working within or alongside an Integration Management Office (IMO).
Familiarity with financial‑services regulatory environments (e.g., risk management, compliance, audit, controls).
Background in enterprise technology programs, core systems integration, or digital transformation.
MBA or advanced degree (preferred but not required).
