Job Description

In this role, the Product Manager translates mission CONOPs, operational needs, and program requirements into prioritized payload capability increments while maintaining the mission systems and payload roadmap across multiple aircraft programs. Each day involves defining integration intent, capability boundaries, and key mechanical, electrical, and software dependencies; ensuring that payload services, behaviors, and constraints are accurately reflected in OMS/UCI architectures, ICDs, and operator workflows. The PM drives scalable expectations for weapons and stores integration—including MIL‑STD‑1760, MIL‑STD‑1553, and UAI compliance—while aligning with autonomy, mission planning tools, and stores management behaviors to ensure deterministic reasoning about payload availability, constraints, timing, and state transitions. They partner with test teams to incorporate safety analyses, separation envelopes, and release criteria into acceptance definitions and ensure payload behaviors are validated across simulation, HITL/SITL, JSE, and flight‑test environments. The role requires ongoing coordination with Interfaces & Configuration to maintain schema alignment, continuous identification and mitigation of payload‑related risks, and clear communication of capability maturity and readiness to leadership, stakeholders, government customers, and partners. The PM also supports customer‑facing demonstrations, transition artifacts, and roadmap discussions while ensuring all feedback is captured and integrated into product prioritization.

This is a direct hire opportunity, with a salary range of $180,000 - 220,000. Annual bonus eligibility, stock options, benefits coverage, PTO, and 401K upon offer. This position is onsite in Atlanta or Los Angelas, or hybrid with 15% travel based out of Colorado.
