Job Description
Our client is seeking a Business Data Analyst with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for transforming Agile data into actionable insights.
The ideal candidate has experience working with Atlassian Analytics or developing reporting derived from Jira/Jira Align.
Candidates local to Atlanta, GA are highly preferred. However, remote candidates will also be considered!
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain custom dashboards and reporting solutions using Atlassian Analytics
• Analyze Agile metrics and product management data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in the Finance Product Management organization to gather requirements and deliver insights.
• Translate complex data into clear, compelling visualizations and narratives that support strategic decision-making.
• Support Agile operations by providing tailored reporting regarding mapping dependencies, tracking OKRs, and evaluating epics and features.

Required Skills & Experience
• SQL proficiency for building and optimizing queries.
• Expertise in Tableau or similar BI tools for dashboard creation and data visualization.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, terminology, and tooling.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with relational databases and data modeling.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with Atlassian Analytics or Jira / Jira Align reporting.
• Experience pulling backend data from Jira and/or Jira Align to build custom dashboards in Tableau or PowerBI
