Job Description
A federal client of Insight Global is looking for a Budget Analyst to join their team. This team supports a large stockpile that the U.S. government can pull supplies from (masks, gloves, vaccinations, toilet paper, etc.) in the event of an emergency and deploy to emergency locations. This person will be responsible for creating complex budgets in excel using pivot tables/imbedded documents to track the inventory. This person is expected to understand how to track orders and contracts and report on how this is impacting the budget. This person will also be responsible for creating standard operating procedures. This person needs to be comfortable working with various federal clients. This person needs to have the ability to travel in person up to 15% of the time to other stockpile locations if needed to assist.
Compensation:
$28/hr to $30/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree and + 4 years’ related experience
· Strong understanding of budgets, accounting, and finance practices and how they relate to policies and compliance
· Excellent or proficient in MS office suite – specifically word and excel
· Ability to create complex budgets, pivot tables, and imbedded documents in excel
· Experience creating SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time to other SNS locations (They have not traveled in the last 2 years but must be open to it)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
· Previous CDC or Government experience
