Job Description
A customer of Insight Global is looking for 2 skilled and motivated Software Engineers to join our data engineering team in supporting a large-scale, cloud-native data infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building scalable systems, automating workflows, and integrating
cutting-edge technologies into data pipelines. The pay rate ranges based on years of experience between $55-65/hour.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain robust data engineering pipelines using orchestration
tools (similar to Apache Airflow or Azure Data Factory).
• Implement automation for common support tasks using API triggers and eventdriven architectures.
• Integrate prompt engineering and LLM configurations into data workflows.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes in cloud
environments (Azure preferred).
• Monitor and optimize pipeline performance, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Prioritize InfoSec and AppSec

Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience in software engineering or data engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with at least some of the following:
o Cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable).
o Kubernetes and container orchestration.
o Data pipeline orchestration tools.
o Prompt engineering and LLM configuration (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI).
o Automation using APIs and scripting (Python, PowerShell, etc.).
o Databricks.
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and DevOps principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with Azure services such as Cosmos DB.
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments
